I got a lot of the parts I needed to start to put the turbine together but I don't have a welder so a friend
kindly loaned me his welder. I have not done much welding so
I'm not sure how good my welding is.

               

I welded all the parts together to make the main body of the turbine. My welding must be OK as
the turbine fell off the bench twice and didn't break!
I welded the new angled starter brackets onto the main body instead of the flat ones. I did not welded the tail
hinge at this stage because I didn't know which angle to weld it at.
